1. Shop at the Grove
The Grove is your one-stop destination for the best mix of retail, restaurants, and entertainment LA has to offer. Spend your day watching movies at the Pacific or shopping at stores like Urban Outfitters, Zara, and Anthropology. Don’t forget to fill your stomach with delicious eats - from the Farmer’s Market to sit down restaurants, all your cravings will be fulfilled!
2. Enjoy the Urban Lights at LACMA
Want more Instagram worthy pics? Head out to see the Urban Lights at LACMA. A beautiful artwork you can visit anytime during the day! Why not go for a museum visit while you’re there? LACMA is the largest art museum in the West, and home to a myriad of art pieces that inspire creativity. Connect with cultures from past to present!
3. Go to the Santa Monica Pier
With miles of beautifully scenic coastlines, LA is full of beaches to visit. The Santa Monica Pier is one of LA’s most famous hangout spots. Spend a chill day at the beach lounging around with friends or get your adrenaline going at the amusement park that site on top of the pier! Every minute will be fun-filled and under the LA summer sun!
4. Try unique eats at the Grand Central Market
Hungry but don’t know what to eat? Head over to the Grand Central Market, a DTLA landmark bringing together foods of all cultures since 1917. Open from 8AM to 10PM, you’ll be able to satisfy your food cravings at any time of the day! View the selection of vendors here!

As a signature fundraising event, the Barnsdall Art Park Foundation has held Friday Night Wine Tastings for over 10 years. With beautiful views that overlook the City, you can sip on a fine selection of boutique artisanal wine, picnic with friends, and watch the sunset at this iconic cultural destination.
2. Watch an Outdoor Movie
Spend some quality time with your family and friends by watching a movie under the stars! There are screenings all over the city, from rooftops to parks! 3. Go to a bar in K-Town
Looking for a night out with the boys/ladies? There are an abundance of bars, lounges, and clubs in K-Town that are aesthetically pleasing and guarantee a good time. Whether you want to go to a high end cocktail bar or a dive bar, there will definitely be a place that suits your taste. Some recommendations: Terra Cotta, Mama Lion, Lock & Key, Gaam.
4. Dance DTLA
Dance DTLA occurs on Friday nights for free, from June 21st to August 30. Each night features different dance genres as well as beginner dance lessons led by top LA dance instructors coupled with a live band or DJ. Get your groove on and check out their lineup here!
